Andrew Savage

Andrew Savage is an Austin, TX-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and dynamic live performer. Rooted in folk, Americana, and folk-punk, his percussive guitar style and raw, heartfelt storytelling captivate audiences. Emerging from San Antonio’s underground folk-punk scene, Savage crafts poignant, playful, and often bittersweet lyrics inspired by artists like Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty.

Now fronting a high-energy folk rock power trio, he brings his songs to life with driving rhythms and rich instrumentation. His debut full-length album, Patchwork released in November 2025 to great acclaim.

"Patchwork is an organic and vulnerable album with a satisfying mix of slow folk tracks and more upbeat, percussion-driven punk songs. Savage’s debut captures sincerity and humility in equal measure, offering an album that is as rewarding in quiet reflection as it will surely be in the communal energy of a live show."

- Katie Stewart of York Calling Magazine

"Savage wanted to make a record that captured a moment instead of chasing perfection. And he did exactly that. Patchwork is warm, unpretentious and remarkably cohesive despite genre-hopping like it’s collecting stamps. It’s a debut that doesn’t try to prove anything except that three musicians can show up, play honestly, and make something that resonates."

Ian Ureta - Alte Magazine

"Patchwork is a warm, fully alive debut album, it captures Andrew Savage at his most authentic – shifting naturally between indie warmth, Americana flourishes, raw emo flashes, and dusty country-rock Neil Young moods. What holds everything together is strong songwriting, a compelling vocal presence, and an energy that never feels forced. There was no click track used on the album, and you can hear that in the best possible way – the record truly feels alive."

"The stripped back folk indie country twangs of 'Another Restless Life' by Pennsylvania bred, Austin-Texas based DIY folk singer Andrew Savage feels damn good, feels real. It is hard sometimes to tell what is real these days but this aesthetic feels drawn from compelling periods in the past, like live performances at real familiar venues, like 90's College Radio that inspired legions of artists and listeners."
